The farmer said there used to be muskrats confused and there was scat but didn't look like big rat turds looked like bird crap but not really. confused idk I'm fishing there today so hopefully a muskrat goes swimming while I'm tgere

I might have to start trapping then. That's probably why I didn't see no sign. Give me some tips on catching them do you skin em? Or what do you do with them?

I don’t sell them, but. People do buy the shells. And you would sell them whole and alive to a buyer if you have one close by. They usually pay by the pound around here. I am no expert on them.

There are guys that will chime in or you could check the archives.
