You’re fixing to lose your southern card buddy.

Guess it’ll do in a pinch though. lol

Stop over cooking your meat! It isn’t gamey, it’s over cooked!

Yeah, this far inland a guys gotta do what a guys gotta do. I understand.

Odd thing about Atlanta, in spite of being within reach of two different coasts the seafood selection here sucks. And the Atlantic one really doesn't have much to recommend it as far as how they prepare their seafood.

Wolfie I picked up a boil packet at Save. A Lot! Never seen them before! I want to try it! You just add the potatoes as corn and crawdads and shrimp or whatever! It looks like fun!

I made up something last week that I've never done before, shrimp grits. Grits has always been a breakfast food for me cooked up long and slow with water and butter, lots of butter.

This go around I browned up some sausage and onion, set that aside. Cooked the seasoned shrimp in the same pan, set that aside. Cooked the grits, same pan, in equal parts chicken stock and heavy cream to a thicker consistency then added back the meats and onion.

It was pretty good.

Made same last weekend. Used Old Bay seasoning. Also, steamed 10# of of snow crab legs for a side dish. laugh
