My preference for delivery services are in order; FedEx ... Our person delivers directly to our apt door , 3 building complex, each with 3 floors, 400 total apartments.
USPS .... Packages may go for a tour of the nation, may be within 30 miles of the apartment multiple times, but when it arrives at our local post office our carrier delivers. If it doesn't fit in either size box, she rings the apartment intercom to notify us of the delivery.
UPS .... Almost like the post office, our delivery comes out of the U.P. Michigan even though the UPS warehouse is like 10 miles away in Green Bay. Deliveries are always left in the unsecured portion of the lobby with no notifications of delivery.
Amazon is the worst at times. Some times it's a krap shoot as the what building the package was dropped of at. All three buildings have a 12" letter A, B, or C over the door on each building. Just a matter of the driver being lazy.

Call or go to the post office and give them the tracking #. When the delivery person scans the item as delivered the scanner logs the gps location of the scan. They can tell you exactly where it was delivered.

It’s a crap shoot really some days they do fantastic boom boom it’s there some days it goes to NM to get to ID or the item goes hundreds of miles in the wrong direction and takes a long time to get to one state away.
Had an issue with UPS years ago I sent a shotgun barrel to GA to get camo dipped it took 18 days to get there it sat in CA for almost a week but that rare with UPS. The PO will hold or trash a package about the quickest of any of the shippers I’ve used. I consider the PO high risk if shipping essence or scents.

About once a week I have to redeliver a neighbor's mail..they have so many diversity hires now, I don't thing being able to read is a prerequisite... Or, when you get one of them, some can be really hard to understand.

I was just at our village PO. Sign says it's open from 12-2 Monday, Thursday and Friday. You can bet the big dogs in the cities aren't making cuts.

Problem nowadays is that most of the employees are stoned on weed all the time and cant carry thru with simple tasks.Useless lazy lumps. Its not just postal service.
