Just returned from Klawock AK. Had incredible weather. 2 days ocean fishing with Fireweed and several self-guide days on the creeks and rivers of Prince of Wales. Wife always catches the bigger kings; this one weighed in at 25lb.

Stayed at Salt Chuck Life Vacation rentals. This was the 4th consecutive year staying there. Tanya Johns is an amazing host. She and husband, Lee have private accommodations, and even rental vehicles. We stayed 7 nights, and were darn sad to leave. They are 5 minutes from the Klawock airport. We are booked for next year.

Sure beats the heat and Chester this time of year. Nice king salmon there, my wife has out fished me a few times. That makes it easier to book another trip.

Especially if a native grandma does it.

And trust me...I've had grandmas native smoked Salmon.
