Traps are just the beginning. For them you also need anchors and a prep (paint, dip, etc) Baits Lures
For those three species, a 1 1/2 coilspring will work just fine. Buy some KO 1.5 and don’t have to paint or dip.

i tried the no bs and the jaws popped off of a few within a month of using but i set a blind set with one and i caught a big fox squirell and it snapped the back leg bone like it was bloody and clearly only being held on with skin

What caused the jaws to pop off? Only a large critter (that the trap is also not designed for) could do that.

Maybe that’s why Kendall’s choice is the laminated double jaw. These are Chinese traps which explains the price. Chinese doesn't explain the volume discount. A single is $12, and a dozen is only $75? That's close to buy one get one free.

The dozen price is $98 or about $8 apiece.
I have a bunch of the No BS 1 1/2 coils in both regular jaw and double jaw variety. Think 6 dozen. I use them for coon on drowners and have never had a problem. ‘Caught my first otter in a No BS 1 1/2 coil as an incidental in a coon set. No problems. As stated by Swamp Wolf, you probably got a whole lot of something that was in no mood to be tied down.
I really like them but they’re a very strong trap.
Never too old to learn

I would buy traps and don't spend all your money on them because you need anchors, wax, dye, etc. Bait wise for coon just use some caption crunch or trix mixed with catfood. Coyote I use predator bait plus. But works great on coon. Don't forget about strechers and fur handling

I’m going to be running dirt holes for coons so I need a stinkier bait then cat food, i have a dude sending me 24 stretchers and I might buy some more even though I prob won’t need more. I have a fleshing knife and I’m going to make a fleshing board. I’m buying 1/2 inch rebar by the 20 feet and cutting it up and my grandpa said he’d weld the T on for me but if he teaches me I can do it. I’m doing 6 3 feet stakes for muck and the rest 2 feet peices so I’m planning on making 20 or 30 stakes just so I have some extra and then I will start chopping down the invasive bushes in my area cause they are a super hard wood, I can pound on them with the hammer and they hold up even if there a little rotten. I will use the wood stakes for muskrats.
PETA is stupid.
