So appears the 6mm ARC is one of Hornady's new calibers........and when you look at factory ammo they offer for it......there are 4 bullets. Only one of which.....the ELD-X is a hunting bullet. Compared to most other 6mm hunting bullets, the ELD-X reminds me of the SR71 Blackbird.......long and sleek. But if you load the ELD-X to factory ammo specs, it ought to feed thru the magazine and chamber. But all of the bullets Hornady offers for this caliber are of the long, sleek high BC type. If the barrel has a fast twist, might be good to follow suit. Yeah if I understand right the whole deal behind it.....at least what how they cut the new chamber and throat, was to allow you to shoot those and the the most out of the small platform. Was going to buy them I thought about how I don't know this specific barrel nor the powder so it could be short and just seemed like a safer bet to go with a shorter mid weight bullet for the time being. That being also I doubt dads gonna shoot past 300yd at the absolute max so

Just cheaper brass boss man what velocity your getting with yours btw ?

Mmm looks ok I reckon these game kings definitely fall off quicker then the nicer high bc bullets. This was a really right deal I just tossed together for the load I'm looking at doing

So was cleaning up and found a few spare parts ( hand guard barrel grip , lil LPVO about the same soze as the one going on) and just wanted to slap together a rough idea of what this is gonna end up being. Just loose fit everything Definitely will be needing the lower once piece mount and might have to use this hand gaurd vs the 9.5" one I ordered . But it's fairly compact and handy and less the. 7lbs according to my scale.... Ughn can't wait for all the parts to arrive!
