Folks just can't seem to be able to wrap their heads around the concept of God. Whether out of incapacity to conceive the whole of the idea or the obstinate refusal to when faced with the reality of Him, we are talking of an entity of absolute and infinite power who literally created all that our finite minds can perceive.
In that light, it matters not if He is a God of love or hate, HE IS GOD.
The great I AM. Past, present and future for all of eternity.

A God of hate ? Enlighten us. Chapter and verse please?
So God does hate, did you just answer you own question?
I think you are correct that God hates sin. But to claim God hates certain people seems to contradict him dying for all humanity. I also think replacement theology is a misleading term. It's actually the belief that Christ fulfilled every requirement of the law. Ethnicity is irrelevant.
Right now I’m having amnesia and déjà vu at the same time. I think I’ve forgotten this before.
I guess hate does seem a little harsh when applying it to people. Maybe, deny, decline, disapprove, withhold, disallow, negative, forbid, reject seems nicer!
What I've seen about the replacement thing is some certain groups think that since they are spiritual Israel they will replace natural Israel and that there will only be one wedding and I guess with no guests nor witnesses.

I agreed that there are verses about God hating. That's why I asked the ?. To understand others beliefs. On the verses.
I only gave Roman 9 because it is the tip above the water that everyone sees. There is a lot more underneath. Why would God allow that word (hate) to even be used in the bible, maybe the devil put it in there?
Maybe Shakespeare and Luther couldn't find a nicer word for German hass. But come to think of hass, dross and dregs don't sound too good either. People get upset over words for different reasons. Remember a few weeks back I told you about the woman at my church that was upset about me saying the wicked would drink the dregs. She was just upset because that implied wine and since she is tea totaly against it, she said there was no moister in hades so that couldn't be right because the rich man was dry and asked Lazarus for a drop on his tongue. I made mention that wasn't Heaven but Abraham's bosom and she said didn't matter. A couple weeks ago I asked her if we had a loved one that maybe didn't make to Heaven would we know their suffering, She reasoned if we knew their suffering it wouldn't be Heaven to us where there is no tears. I will probably bring that up again, but until then dregs is a bad word because it implies wine, I think she sits on her lees too much, lol.
I really struggle with all the Pauline books. I think it is because of my Biblical ignorance, but Paul is a very hard read for me. Some of it I get and makes total sense, other parts, I just scratch my head.
I wonder if Paul's take on it is even relevant to our salvation? I don't think so, Jesus' gospel is enough. What do ya'll think?
To be honest, I am still struggling with the conversation you all are having. I'm not sure where I stand. All I can do is continue to read and pray for the Holy Spirit to guide me in the right direction and also reach out to folks with differing thoughts. Most of the folks in my part are strict zionists.
