Got this at a auction today a lg trap collection of traps was in a box of 14 jumps pan matching other ones but nothing but the V stamped out [Linked Image]

I would say that it is factory, not sure why it is not marked. Is the pan brazed to the shank? Looks like brass along the edges of the shank. Normally, they are spot welded.

it is spot welded to the shank . i was thinking the pan and shank were brass because of the color i put a magnet on them both and stuck for sure steel .going to list it on the shed was hoping to get your opinion want 40.00 plus shipping .thank you

For what it's worth back in the late 70's or early 80"s, after market replacement "ATC" pans were being produced with no printing on the pans and they were a bit off color, I remember buying 3 and 4 jump pans and also the old 1 1/2 Victor coil pinch pans, again no printing on any of them. I had heard there was a patent infringement against the maker and they didn't last long

Hard to tell from the picture but it looks a bit thinner than a factory pan to me.
