Its been a while since I have ordered from midway. Normally when I spend money I do it when it's a good deal with additional discounts so I order more than I need and orders are spaces out. Today's order was ammo on sale Hornady North American whitetail in 243 for $22.×× a box. For example on what I consider a good price. Found a 20% off discount code on top of that. Shipping was not bad. Picked up a few different cal.

Midway has always had fast shipping for me . Any bets on how long it will take for my order to show up. I ordered today about 2 hours ago.. I'm thinking Wensday or Thursday.

Told the wife I probably shouldn't have ordered so much and her reply was only " we need it"
Man I lucked out getting her for a wife. I knew I should have doubled my order.

Remember, they are in business for one reason. They want to earn a profit.

It was a good very sale price and they also had one of the free shipping and x off at this price and x more off at hight stepped up prices each level rise in $ spent had a corresponding increase in the discount amount


I don't remember the details it's been a few years. But instead of making one order I made a few because at the amount I ordered was many times over the discount max amount so a few orders that hit the lever to just hit the max discount and I doubled the discount on The same amount of ammo. I'm a value thrift shopper and only buy ARt a good or great price. Typically I'm never low on much because when I find a deal I stack it deep. The exception is new calibers or in the 243 case it was used and not replaced like normal during to being unavailable and when available 2x the price it should be. So I got very low on it. Down to less than a box infact.

I like midway but will buy form anyplace that has the best deals. They all have to make a profit it just does not all have to come from me.

I don't think Midway's shipping is any faster than anyone else who uses the same shipper. The difference is how fast they get the order prepped and ready for pickup. Usually it is just a matter of hours whereas with some vendors it can be days.

Been slow my last two orders. I was starting to think they were slipping. Didn't they get bought out awhile back.

Be careful ordering large quantities. I know my UPS driver and he’s told me in the past they’re “supposed” to report deliveries of large quantities of ammo. Don’t know who he reports to, unless it’s just his supervisor who would report it outside the company.

As stated above, it's usually 3-5 days for me.
They ship the cheapest way possible, depending on size and weight of package.
They almost always have it ready to ship the same day.
Never had any problems with them

I bet they have to try to deliver several times. Seems like I think they require signatures on ammo now and normally that's no issue with my wife a stay at home home schooling mom but it's fare week so will have a lot of in and out away from home this week.

Yes 330 it's great ammo. First time I bought it was during a panic and I couldn't find any 7mm08 brass so I bought it to sight in and get practice for my daughter new gun she got on her 9th b day and I could load good ammo with the brass. Well after shooting it and getting nickel size 5 shot groups I was blown away. Factory base model youth rem 700 and cheapes ammo on the shelf should not shoot that good. So with my limited time I just started buying it instead of loading any. After a few dozen deer killed with it in 243 and 7mm08 and good results and it's great accuracy I recommend it to anyone. Only down side is some lead frags out into the meat at times and made me consider hunting with barns instead.

Call them BEFORE they ship and I'd bet they will be happy to double your order!

When I order from Midway it will go from Columbia, Mo. to St. Louis. Then it goes from St. Louis back across the state to KCMO. Then it goes to KCK and a lot of the times it goes back and forth there for 2-3 days before it comes down here. I live about 250 from Midway's store and it usually takes a week or more. Been like that for a few years now. Years ago they didn't have a separate shipping charge, it was included in the price and most times I would get my order in two days.

Free shipping can be very slow regular shipping is very good for me.

Just checked my email so far no shipping confirmation notice. Guessing the increase in ammo volume orders are slowing things down.

Your likely correct, I checked and all the ammo is still in stock and not listed as unavailable maybe volume has not go up sa much as I figured. Infact the 350 legend rounds I order went down close to a dollar in price since I made my order.
Ir very well could be next week before it shows up.

Left Laine investing advice is free. Get on a budget and track your spending. Cut expenses where you can and start saving and paying off debt. Then invest heavily. Very simple and basic common since but few do it.
