Now that many FFL checks are done online by many big box stores all that info is in the cloud and readily available. Gun registry at it's finest.

any store moving any quantity is using the online NICs , they keep making it slower and slower to call it in.

first delay I ever got was this year at a little call in store.

it was about 3 hours only but I am not usually done counting out the cash before my approval is through

just happened to hit a low staff day close to lunch and it was a handgun so it takes the extra WI step.

Try buying s gun in Illinois. Seller MUST keep a record of the seller must keep receipt for 12 years last I last I lived there.

well since the system for recording stolen guns almost could not get worse , it would be interesting if they had any evidence of it after 18 months.

the list self purges every 6 months , the person who had it stolen has to keep singing for it and that means the agency you reported it to has to keep reporting and getting you to sign again every 6 months.

I might have the only stolen gun still on that list after 4 years and that is because I attend monthly meetings at the station and know me so when it comes up they see my name and have me sign again.
