the railroad does allow crossings, its done for land owners all the time. contact the railroad and get a legal crossing put in. but you will own that crossing and all expenses and liability is on you. i lease 150 arces from the electic company here and have to carry a million dollar insurance liability policy as part of the lease agreement even though the only access to it is across my privite property liability is a great concern for big corpanies now days.

[quote Not deserving of any criticism by YOU. I would bet there are some on here that will vouch for that statement.

Too bad you will get my take on it because I worked the mtc of way for 36 years and I also am a trapper.
I also trapped for the railroad as an agent.
The railroad was the only company that would not use the trappers councils nuisance beaver program because of one ejit.
They used to use the nuisance beaver program until one guy took his 4 wheeler down the track to acess a spot. The track was all cut and fill with lots of curves and high banks and rockcuts and steep deep ravines in between, when the passenger train came whipping around the curve at 70MPH he barely got off his bike, which was demolished.
Then he tried to sue the railroad, lol.
That was when the Railroad created a nuisance beaver control position with the union and opend the job up for bid by railroad employees who were RR rules qualified as well as licenced to trap.Best job I ever had.

What Wallfur said is exactly true-entitled ejits are their own worst enemy.

You want to hear some more? I got plenty.
Amazing the RR didnt crack down on tresspassers long ago.

Forget that fear of gravity-get a little savagery in your life.

Well Boco I have a lot of respect for you as a fellow trapper who has helped a lot of folks on here. With that said, none of that gives you the right to lump me into what you referred to as "drama queens" and of the "entitlement generation". By doing that you have shown that you know nothing about me and are quick to engage in the rookie move of name-calling a fellow trapper.

Onward...through the fog....
