If your getting all sorts of crap on your page you don't know how to manage your account. I'm only friends with people I've met in person or know.

I mostly use Messenger to keep up with family and friends. We have dozens of active chats going. I also have a business page. I buy, sell and look for good deals on Facebook Marketplace often.

As mentioned there are dedicated private groups for all interests. I'm a member of trapping groups, a pond management group, three groups dedicated to local lakes I enjoy fishing and getting updates on, a PA Deutsch group, a Hunting Camp group, a Local Sawmills and Lumber group, two Online Garage Sale groups, a High School Alumni group, a Small Woodworking Shop group and a Pennsylvania Taxpayer's Cyber Coalition to name a few. LOL

For me it is a very useful and entertaining form of social media.
