Its odorless, safe, cheap and mixed with water wouldn't it work to spray it on the dirt around your trap?

I've got a friend like you. He calls up with a question (I helped him get into the business). I give him my answer and then he argues with me about my answer.

He still calls but unless I am driving he gets to leave a VM or text me.

I have a cousin that's similar. City boy that married into money and they bought 80 acres ot her dad did anyway. Calls asking animal, tractor or other related questions I give him answered and explain based on my experiences. Then he foe on to tell me how guys on the internet do it the other way or say this.

Didn't take long before I had to tell him just do what is on the internet and don't bother calling to ask me. I tell you what my experience is and why and how it works for me. Things I learned by making many mistakes. If I know I tell you and why. If I am not sure I tell you I'm not sure but this is what I think and why, if I don't know or have any idea I tell you that to. From now on just go with what's on the internet. It works for a while but he always come back . I no longer spent time with thoughtful responses.

If you think it will work, test it out. I’m sure you have access to a freezer. Experiment!!

If you never try anything new you'll limit yourself, give it a try and tell us if it worked its a good way to add to the conversation. Trapping is alot of trial and error until you sort out your style

I've never used a liquid as antifreeze. Not sure if the freezer would give you the right results. In the freezer you don't have wind blowing across it to dry the dirt out.
Are there other liquid anti freezes that people use?
I'm only familiar with salt, waxed dirt and sand and grass, hay and peat moss

I've used glycerin, and I know glycol works but this is a lot cheaper.

I forgot about those two
You may have to give it a shot yourself this winter. Nothing ventured nothing gained. Maybe M Magis will chime back in with an explanation.

And I can't find it anywhere but most antifreeze contains glycol so...

But now I see it has ethyl alcohol and potassium phosphate, no glycerin or glycol...?
