Anyone use extension cables, with adjustable loop for mountain or woods trapping? I even use them on Beaver at times. Light weight, fast set making, fast when pulling. I use them.

Easy as 1-2-3
1) make a loop-

2) pound on end stop to flatten-

3) Finished. Make any size loop needed for the job-

Those are super handy to have close by and weigh almost nothing. Snaring hogs I make that exact extension but I double up the hardware

No.
I loop extension around nearby tree then use quick link to attach cable to trap chain.

Here's partner setting a log cubby. He cabled off to a tree on right side of picture-

Other spots where I cabled to tree-

I use adjustable on one end and a bypass quick snap on the other end. Probably have 70 in inventory. Anchor for bodygrip , anchor for Beaver floats, most often.
