Check in your hair. All that hair gel you use would hold a whole carburetor.

Good luck with that ,Jurassic! A good barrage of profanity will make it feel better.

Found the spring!!!!!

Sitting here just getting mad thinking how I can never finish a task, I have a bunch of jobs that are started but not completed and everything’s piling up. I just wanted to get this carb cleaned and ready for the next fishing trip! But nooooo, darn spring wanted to go for a ride!

Well, it’s dark now and I decided since that spring is metal maybe it’ll shine if I flash a flashlight around in the garage. Wishful thinking right!

It worked! Found it laying on the floor where I did look earlier during the day.

Hope I don’t lose it again tomorrow!

See! The mere mention of a barrage of profanity and the spring sowed up all by itself!

I have a magnetic sweep I keep in my shop for when those Jesus clips, springs, small nuts and bolts escape. Once they hit the thick layer of wood chips and dust that's almost always on my shop floor they disappear.

Glad you found it!

Eh...wot?

Just a calm well thought out plan gave you success, glad it worked out so far.

Use a pair of tweezers to install it after rubbing the tweezers on a magnet. I do this when rebuilding carbs on chainsaws. It has saved me countless hours on my hands and knees looking for a tiny spring

Lol, if I had more space in my garage it would probably have been easier to find. My garage is so full that I only have little aisles of walk space and it’s hard to sweep the floor.
So my floor is full of dead flies, salt, water droplets, and a lot of deer hair!

Lugnut, if you lived closer I’d have you build me a shop!

I'll bring over 10 dozen burnt traps to pad the insurance claim if that is going to happen.

JP are you in "Delissio pizza"
with-draw symptoms
since it has been withdrawn from sales in Canada. Time for a new selfie then.

FYI, I do travel for work! Especially when there's the possibility of hunting moose and/or wolf! LOL
