Chimpanzees eat hunt, catch, kill and eat 10% of the monkeys in Congo each year.
Chimpanzees are also eating African children. I've seen Jane Goodall talk very coldly about chimpanzees eating African children. Jane pays the Africans to not go after the chimpanzees eating their children. In one video, she suggests that the Africans may let their children get eaten for the pay out.
Apparently it's becoming more common for chimpanzees to eat African children.

Dont humans eat chimps? I know humans eat other monkey's
Just do some archaeological and palentology digs in Kansas and prove chimps were there 10 million years ago and you can get them reintroduced because they are native. Then once they get established under protection of the state, the state can sell a few lotteries to keep them in check and out of the populated areas. Would be great for tourism and all the things that go with that.

Ugly creatures. Only way I would eat one is if I was bad hungry. I just dont understand why the fact they hunt is such a big surprise. Look at their teeth.

Veganism is a moral system, not a diet. that moral system leads vegans to eat only plants. There are people who don't eat animal products for other reasons, for example they feel like it's healthier, but have no problem with using leather, feeding meat to pets, etc. Those people wouldn't be considered vegan.
Animals don't comprehend morals, and thus cannot be vegan, even if they only ate plants. (and there aren't any animals that completely exclude animal products from their diet).

The forward facing eyes alone denote a preditor (horsemanship 101) and when you add in the teeth, a person would have to be gullible as a vegan to say primates evolved w/o eating meat.

Would you happen to have a link to an article or video about the payouts?

The Jungles of equatorial Africa is a tough place to survive. You have to be the best of the best there to pass on your genetics.Ruthlessness is a requirementThat type of environment begets that thru natural selection.
