Is it newer? We just got a subscription to that and watched the new Ninja Turtles Mutant Mayhem movie this weekend.

2 seasons but I’ve only found season 1 on prime. I agree with you. My wife was watching Trapper Jake with me and she said almost the same thing, and she has accompanied and participated my outdoor pursuits for a long time. Eric

I have not watched Trapper Jake. What's wrong with it?

Probably talking about the parts where he beat a few critters over the head with a rebar stake.....then shot others....which is ... honestly a tab bit confusing

Probably would have been okay if he wasn’t a visibly impaired hundred year old man who is clearly losing his finesse and having to repeat said actions
The only thing he had going for him is his age and that he still traps. A couple cute stories but I think they could have found a better source for a story.
It was kind of dark.

I agree Wolf but at the time Jake had that documentary made he was old and had not caught up with the times. I knew him very well "Old Sauerkraut" He was never very political or got tied in with the anti movement. He just did what he did and did not caring. Wyoming was quite different back than as was trapping and the politics of it. He was what he was and was quite the trapper and story teller. I have seen a lot of old timers in Wy. Tuff sons of a guns and was proud to know them. Hope I get to meet them again in the happy hunting grounds.

That’s awesome danvee, I was not criticizing the man at all, just the delivery of the documentary to the uneducated non trapper. Eric
