It is too nice to stay inside tonight. I should have scheduled some fishin lessons from Jesse Henry if I'd known it was gonna cool off like this.

Call it what you like and do whatever it takes to get you through the night I guess. I am just glad I am not bunking next to you.

Maybe maybe not I might have dropped a lil blood sweat and tear to clear that little camping spot. The pasture is basically fallow and there was prolly 50 inches on rain this spring.

grin

I tread lightly around my lady friend. If I mess it up with her I might get stuck with one of them hairy legged gals from Austin.

Ah man, have you tried blind setting for them at a super greasy Asian buffet? Down here they attract some real trophies I'm tellin ya.

I got bashful last night once the thunder and lightning got started.
I'm still half gunshy after watching a hardwood explode outside the kitchen window a year ago. 1/2 night in the hammock dry and bug proof.

I like my hammock

not everyone sleeps well in them but I sleep good

just need a place to hang it and you are all set for the night.

America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

I agree Pete I have a bad back so I was surprised how well I can ho to sleep in one. On yak trips a sandbar with 2 trees 10 ft or more apart and camp is set.

Don’t the bugs eat you up? Camp like that around here and you’ll need a blood transfusion by morning.

There is a big ol bug screen under the fly BR- it is a must down here too. They now make camping hammocks with a bug screen all in one unit but I use what I have.

I'm surprised there aren't more ppl hammock camping this time of yr. Way to hot for a tent.
