So far, every state I’ve been to in the last couple years seems like my kinda people. MN, MI, WI, ND, WY and South Dakota. Very strong in the black hills just by looking and meeting the people around. Chatted with a guy & wife from Bismarck yesterday in Deadwood. Found out I got a lot in common with strangers. Except he can hammer coyotes with his AR platform and mine has to stay in the safe.

You read about these things, but where we live you’ll never experience it. Different class or upbringing I guess. Don't count on it. Where do y'all send your younguns to school? UGA is eat up with stupid and Athens-Clarke is a lost cause. Anything inside or near the metro, worse. Same for the Florida and Alabama schools. My point, not only are you within driving distance of danger but your community is feeding the beast. BTW, how does Albany, Columbus and Tallahassee vote?

Auburn is considered one of the most conservative colleges in the country. Compared to what? To UGA, it's a regular monastery, but my youngest brother spent most of his life in that town after graduating there. In my experience, the most conservative of them would be a squish in my book.

I don’t live in Albany and go there only when necessary. But I’ll be honest, no matter the vote, the Blacks there wouldn’t allow it.
My kids were in public school here in our county. As far as higher education, neither went and I’m glad. All are doing quite well for themselves and enjoy their jobs.
What I’m telling you, is that kind of nonsense isn’t tolerated here.
I’ve told the story before about they were supposed to come march in our little town and even posted how our police didn’t have riot gear or anything to stop them. It was on a FaceBook page and open to the public. A few country boys showed them pics of corn pickers and told them they could clear from one end of town to the other in less time than they could run. They also stated they were welcome to come and listed restaurants that were good and directions to emergency units. But if the first piece of property was damaged we’d be standing right behind our LEO’s armed to the teeth.
Two days later they announced they had resolved the matter though other means and a “march” wasn’t necessary. I think everyone in the county/city still took off the day it was scheduled. There was no shortage of tractors and those of us exercising our 2A rights on every corner.
So NO it will not be tolerated here. The only place that works is where people LET it happen. You think Trump will let them storm the capital when he’s elected? I understand. I grew up in the "don't let the sun set on your......." end of the county and have roots in a county where I can trace a direct blood link to well over half the county going back generations. My opinion we need to get back to handling our own business within our own communities. SSS if need be. Just don't think these city idiots don't have ideas on upsetting your apple cart. It's going to hades in a hand basket up here in counties that were like your's when I moved here twenty years ago. My fear is that come Nov 6th we may be dealing with brush fires all across the country while the cities burn.
