Cubs are making the lowly Reds look good today thus far. Trade talks have mentioned how Taillion would be a big bargaining chip for the Cubs, and he looks like crap today.

Lot of the top teams have been treading water the last couple weeks. Good opportunity for some teams to move up and challenge. The strategy that goes into trading, selling, buying etc. is amzing! Some teams plan for the future and some want to push hard to play in October. Some of the teams with money to spend are holding onto their money as of yet. Two days to go so we will see.

Lucky for you, and bad for Cubs fans, the Braves seem to suck vs. the lowly brewers tonight.

Brewers were just helping the cubs in the wild card standings. Bats came alive. I see the brewers made a trade for another pitcher.Brewers were never afraid to trade with a division rival. We will get to see Joey Weimer play for the reds.

Best trade ever was sending our former manager South. We didn’t even get a bag of balls in return but still came out on top

Phillies should have a good chance at a win with a rookie on the mound vs. Nola on the bump for the Phillies.

The Indians continue to hang on to the best record in the American League. They still need starting pitchers. They added 2 in the last few weeks but neither one has pitched in the major leagues this year due to injuries. Typical Indians' ownership - Trying to get by as cheaply as possible.

You boys pick up anything from trade? Cards picked up some white soxs, pitcher fedde and Tommy pham, came back. Traded Carlson for a relief pitcher I'm not sure who he is.. not sure if we got anything but warm bodies in spots we needed someone. Could have traded the 2nd basemen for a used washer and I still would have thought we got the better end of the trade.

Cubs gave up Morel who promptly homers for his new team, the Rays, for a guy who ain't done nothing for them. Shipped out their very best reliever to the Yankees for a couple nobody youngins. Never attempted to acquire a closer, which they have not had one all year long. Made no effort to trade anyone else because, well mainly, no one wants them. Still have the worst GM and head coach in MLB though!

Phillies get swept. I, like the announcers, can not understand why they didn't pinch run for Schwarber in the bottom of the 9th. Bad coaching for sure. Hopefully the Cubs can avoid getting swept this evening, but I won't hold my breath.

Lodolo pitching tonight. Good young arm for the Reds.

Adc not sure if you have the worse coach, oil in my opinion is up there, if your number one we are a close number 2. Just does whatever mo says. Not sure Mo's title but he makes the everyday day decisions. I wish they would let him and oli go. We could do much better

New pitcher today brought up, was at work didn't catch the game but looked like he was lights out 1 er 7 innings.

Brewers gave up back to back homers twice to the SAME GUYS. Never saw or heard of that before. Their newly acquired reliever, Mears, stunk up the place.

Big series coming up for the cards if things go good the cubs will stay right where they are.

2/3 of the season gone and the Indians again , if only for a day, have the best record in baseball. Baltimore is coming to town for a 4 game series. Hopefully we can at least get a split.

The Phillies couldn't win at home now they start a 10 game road trip on the West Coast.

He did look good at times but other times, not so much. The Cubbies hung 8 runs on him and 5 more on the relievers. Avoided the sweep and Bellinger back in the line up off the il, looked pretty good. Reds only got 4 runs with Hendricks starting, that ain't good.

Big win for the Cubs over the Lowly Cards. 3 runs and walk it off vs their "closer".

That was a dramatic win for the Cubs. MLB broadcast the game so I got to watch it.
