That was the last bear I trapped. I no longer kill bears. I pre-baited and used cameras so that I did not catch sows or cubs.

A year later I couldn't trap that place.

Haha, red fox urine or gland lure has the same appeal all across the country I see! About can’t use it down here due to the deer.

Done a card swap and re-bait this morning to make sure all cameras are working properly for the deer survey on my 400 acre tract.

Some decent bucks revealed after only 2 days of in-service cameras on this property.......12 more days to go...

All those are the cheaper sd card pull cameras. They come in handy and work well. They'll all go on buck scrapes by early October thru December.

Have 3 more that are cell cameras. Those are super for real time info without making any intrusions. Just have to get them in the right spot to begin with.

Just got all those SD card cameras in place day b4 yesterday. Needed to make sure all were working....I was sorta surprised by the number of bucks in just 2 days. Looks to be 3 or 4 that are mature in those.

Can’t wait to see what the end results look like.

My son has been baiting these up and we think he got the entire sounder.

Yeah, they bought him a Pig Brig so he’s learning, lol. Second sounder he’s caught. If he find rooting he’ll bait that spot up and get them coming in regular. He’ll then add the T-post and let them get used to that. Then after 4 days straight he’ll add the netting raised up and wait until they hit that for 5 days straight, then lower the net where it’ll scrub their backs for 3 days straight, then drop it and generally will catch them.

He’s put up the T-post before and hogs never showed up again after 4 weeks, lol. Some pigs can be caught and some can’t.

Man he might make someone a fine deer!! Then again if he hangs around he may live another year, lol.
