Just a field of Camphor weeds. Provides plenty of insects and cover for quail in the understory. Deer will also eat on it.

And last but not least, this is just a pic of what we call our wet weather holes. They are scattered ALL over the property and all are surrounded by oaks.

Just thought it would be interesting to show a different environment from down here. I always enjoy others pics of places and types of terrain they hunt and trap.

Ok, last one for sure. I’d showed or attempted to show pines planted this year that looked like they won’t make, so I wanted to show pines planted 2 years ago that are doing really well.

Those quail plantations are some pretty woodlands!

Most of the Southeast used to look like that b4 Europeans got here.
