Most people (me included) will never catch 5 fish like that in their life, let alone in 2 hours.

They must have been on fire. Nice coloring on those fish. On my water they are more drab, sometimes solid color with no markings at all depending on the lake.

I have never caught a muskie but it is on my bucket list.

Two were on a bucktail I made from black bear hair.

numbers of muskellunge in a single day instead of just
messing around with only a hand full in one outing !!!

Aa a full time guide Mike has the big fish game and numbers of them dialed in.

He's legendary.

He also has legendary waters. Most of our real big fish go out to the open water after spawn, and are generally uncatchable most of the year. With the St Lawerence, that happens less so there's more catchable big fish there.

I know lots of guys who fish Georgian Bay with some success, then go to the St lawerence and do really well on big fish.

A high 50s Georgian Bay musky would be a life goal.

Troll 30-45’ deep in the open water. Target getting just under the Cisco and whitefish schools. You will nail the big ones.
