Finished up some mink I tanned,tumbled and glazed.

Polish the guardhair.
You can use talc in the tumble to glaze the guardhair,but talc dust is not good for you.
I use mineral spirits and cob grit.

Thanks for the explanation Boco. I do like shiny guard hair it really makes the pelts stand out and "come alive"

Behr solid colour stain,
I shovel the snow off the deck in winter so I give it a touch up about every 3rd year.Anything standing upright is good.The top of the handrail I had to re do this summer.(wire brush,sand and stain)Wood was good,just the stain wore off.
The rotten deck board was the only one,It was heart wood in the lumber by the look of it,water got in there thru cracks and it got spongy,all the rest are solid.
