Gotta love the referrals, did a job last month with ground squirrels- ended up catching them an a litter of skunks along with the female. Now the house next door has had skunk problems is calling. They bought a trap but had no luck. ? Maybe the male is over there ? Hopefully more

Referrals make the world go ‘round!

I’m always surprised by how many people buy traps, then are stumped at how to deal with the skunk they caught.

I've made quite a few dollars releasing those skunks for homeowners.
Easy money.

Picking up skunks for folks has turned into free traps for me. "Do you want your trap back?" "Nope, just keep it, I won't need it again." They get gun shy, they're afraid they're going to catch another one. Lol.

Lucky you, mine have all wanted the trap back. That means 2 trips to the property, one to pickup the animal and one to return the trap. I’m too nervous to try transferring the skunk from their trap to my trap on-site, though I’m sure it could be done.

Music to my ears "my husband was trying to catch a squirrel under the bird feeder and we have a skunk in the trap this morning".

Happen's quite often, they buy tractor supply cage traps, make the wrong catch & in comes the call. skunk or a coon that hit cage to hard. funny that almost every time I get a call like, they want to pay cash. many of those fast jobs I get referrals from, witch is fine with me.

I know a guy that's been known to slip business cards into the boxes those cages come in.

Just saying.

Did he get calls from it? Lol

Can't say that he ever did.
