I"ve been den calling for some time and found that the 17WSM or 17 Hornet would drop them with the least fur damage most of the time.

I don't own a 22mag , and while 223 might be a bit overkill , I am thinking of trying it

one gun set up for coons and coyote with a 1-6 or 1-8 optic


America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

I've done my share of coon calling at night. Calling around den trees. 22 lr worked fine.
