Will coyote urine catch both fox and coyote? In your experience what did you catch?
Thanks

My thought is its hard to find good urine. Unless you buy from the person collecting it or pen one up yourself in a collection pen, your better off without it. If you can find some its good stuff. Same with fox. You want the stuff collected from wild fox not fur farm stuff. Coyote or fox is good stuff. Will attract both species no matter which one you use.

I Use mainly coyote urine. But also make a few sets here or there with red fox or bobcat urine. Quality urine of either coyote, fox, or bobcat will work on any of the other. But getting your hands on the good stuff is getting harder and harder also costs more and more which rightfully so being the cost of keep that animal feed properly and pen maintenance isn’t cheap either. Just glad last time I bought urine I bought five gallon bucket of each coyote and red fox. Where do you buy ur urine? I buy off Minnesota trapline and FNT

Ok coondagger2, but I don't know anybody to go to. And buy urine off them. I know some people trap there coyote and fox and collect there urine after skinning. Is this a good way? I would rather use urine of a fox/coyote out of the area.

Sorry young fella I’d share where my sets are long before I’d share who or where my urine comes from.

most of the urine being sold has very little, if any, urine in the container

The first time I collected coyote urine I thought I was doing something wrong. Smelled loud and stinky. Stuff kept settling in the bottom of the jar. Nothing I had bought smelled like that or kept getting sediment. Took awhile to figure out it was because I never had any before.
