My first thought is that this is reason for celebration. But the truth is I don't understand God's relationship with those overseas. So, if this was God's will, praise Jesus. If not, He can sort it out at the gates.

If that is true then Israel flew deep into Iranian airspace and dropped a guided munition into a single building in Tehran, Iran's Capitol, apparently without detection or resistance. We think our Secret Service is incompetent. The Iranian military defense must really suck or Israel is just that good. Either way, the Iranian leadership must be sleeping with one eye open.

The leaders of two different organizations whacked in a couple of days. Easy to get them mixed up.

Hit them so hard they no longer have the ability or will to bother you again. Making it brutal will give any other thinking about attacking you in the future something to consider.

I'm aware of those verses, but also of chapter after chapter of stories where God led his chosen people, the Jews, into war against his enemies. I lean heavily towards thinking that God likely led Israel to take out these two very bad dudes. But I guess none of us can know for certain.

This is deep-rooted back to the Old Testament. It involves Abraham, Hagar, Ishmael, and the birthright.

I think we should also be aware of stories in the Bible where God handed Israel over to it's enemies when Israel turned it's back on God. The Jews deny Christ as Lord, and in doing so, turn their back on God. They're still God's chosen people, but they need to repent and accept Christ. Until then, I think they're gonna have an awful hard time maintaining any sort of peace.


God gave victory to Israel back before Jesus's time, when they were still following him. But now, in modern times after Christ's death, things are different.

There never was a problem with the birthright until Mohammad came along. He preached that the birthright had been lied about and stolen by the Jews. Abraham had passed it on to Ishmael, not Isaac. He claimed to have been enlightened by a Jinn in a dream.
