The wee that I’ve used has been ineffective also. Wolf would pass right by without breaking stride. Tried fox & wolf urine. The gland lure is what got their attention around my sets. Fox & coyote too.

Tactical, Why just one male? Just curious. Eric It should get the correct territorial response, multiple coyote mixed together isn't nearly as good, especially with an educated coyote

I know from testing bait/lure.urine in front of trail cams that once one coyote marks something, they all do. Seems like a mixed urine source would be just as natural as a single source around here.

Urine is best stored in a colored bottle that blocks sunlight. Nobody does it because people want to see the urine and it costs more for the container. Try it.

So are coyotes. Maybe there's something to it.

The first time I collected coyote urine it was from a single male "pet" coyote. Once I figured out I had been buying who knows what from a major trap supply company and used it I thought the significant catch increase was because it was from a single animal. Now I will add bladder urine from fox or cats to the jug. If I am skinning at home I keep the cat pee separate but I am not sure its more effective than just adding it to jug of coyote pee. As was said multiple animals and species of animals at a toilet is very common.

PS bought a quart of something from a major dealer a few years ago called rat glands. They showed up colored red. Paid a good price. Still in the freezer. No clue whats in that jar. Pretty amazing what some folks will do.

Right now I’m having amnesia and déjà vu at the same time. I think I’ve forgotten this before.

Were supposed to be be fresh froze no additives. Why would you add glycerin????
Glycerin would explain why the rat gland sweet smell is so faint
