Green Bay OP trapper G Joined: Dec 2010 Wisconsin	for when you trap a perfect area (shelter, water, food) and catch a ton of animals and the next time you turn around it as if you have never trapped it? I have this happen to me in several locations. It is almost as if you would never be able to over trap it because dispersing animals keep moving into it because there is no competition. Brian half the farms I trap by den season they are packed with coons again there is so much excess for coons they move in so fast to any place you aren't trapping and in a season you would never know you pulled a truck load out last season. Wanna Be trapper W Joined: May 2018 SW Georgia	Well I know the name of what you just did…”Jinxed”! All my properties were like that the first couple of times I trapped them. Then it’s like they become a nuclear waste ground. My son’s plantation is like that. 1000 critters a calendar year is normal. That’s everything from armadillos to coyotes.
