Since June 1st till now I have had 1.30 and since July 1st till now .20. The only thing we haven't had much heat till just the last few weeks. With out irrigation and pumping water out of crick it would grim. Fire is always my concern I'm hoping for some rain. I really is about a normal year, dry county is very common.

A few pictures of the melon patch and the young trees I started this spring.

Melons look great. You water them?

swampgas chili and schmidt beer makes for a deadly combo

You have to remember that 1 out of 3 Democratic Voters is just as dumb as the other two.

Looking good! I think the deer ate off every tree that I planted this Spring and didn't fence.

I have nothing clever to put here.

Seems like all I do anymore is fight fire. A couple of weeks ago a storm rolled through and stared six fires. I think the total acres burned was somewhere north of 50 thousand acres. Had another storm the night before last that stared 3. We had two fires this year in February. One of them burned 600 acres in short order. Lots of black hills here.

I can't believe that cop put me in the back seat when I clearly called shotgun.

Pumped water today for only the three time this year. I grow everything on fabric, no weeds and hold moisture.

Elk have ruined some trees and grasshoppers killed some. The deer will be hard on them come fall and winter though.

MT bowhunter >> been lucky so far but fires pop up everywhere again this year. Man I hope we get some rains soon.

All the other garden stuff I water from the crick at a different location. I have a small gas engine pumping the water using a pump jack. Works good!
