Looks like newborn Benjamin Button!

Fast money, this one was running around in the middle of the day, 100* out, no hair. Catch all into cage, took longer to bill than catch. Didn’t help the little girl managing the place had a little summer dress on that looked great!

During the D5 meeting at the Rondy I proposed that these Possum shirts be recognized and the official uniform of WTA District 5.

If that's mange, that's the most complete mange I've ever seen. There's a gene in house mice called "Rhino" that makes them look like that. The same gene, under other name makes sphynx cats and Mexican hairless dogs. Does the opossum have mange or another issue?

True hairless opossums would have good value in the exotic pet market, probably sever thousand dollars for the first breeding stock.

I don’t know if it’s mange or not, we can’t sell wildlife here and my license isn’t worth playing games with. This thing just didn’t have any hair, or just a tiny amount. Kinda odd to be out in the middle of a 100* day. Was not hard to get the catch pole on it.

You can see the mites that cause mange with a microscope. Ohio doesn't let us sell furbearers, that we catch, alive either. Novel looking furbearers and other oddball animals bring big money at the exotic animal auctions and in the exotic pet trade.

If legal, there might be a pretty good price from a taxidermist for that opossum.
