A few weeks back, I asked about what herbicide would be good for removing woody stem plants or small trees.
Several of you guys responded... with TORDON. So, I tried it.

My problem was a clump of Redbud trees/bushes. I didn't have a photo of it before but it was 10 to 12 feet high and the main trunk was about 2 feet in diameter.
The whole cluster was 8 feet in diameter. With pruners I cut back the largest, tallest branches and applied the TORDON on each of the stubs. I also cut a bunch of the smaller
branches that were coming up from under-ground runners.

Well, here is today... looking at it from both sides.




I am going to go back and start cutting on it to see how much of it I can cut out by hand and go from there. I know the full truth won't be known until next spring.
Then will see if there are any runners that survived.

Thanks again guys. Next main project is a concrete step, with missing chunks and bad cracks.

That is what I would have expected. Powerful and doesn't take much.

Neighbor lady had a bunch of volunteer trees close to her cement areas that’s what happened to her trees after I cut them off drilled holes and filled with Tordon no more trees.

Yep, that is powerful stuff. You guys set me straight on it and tell others now what to use... but always give my Trapperman Family the credit.

Does that cause cancer like all the test?.

What doesn't cause cancer the list will be much shorter!!!!

It's good stuff and has been around a long time.
