A question on another thread has me curious…
Does your State have a coyote season? Here in Georgia there’s no season for coyotes, they can be hunted or trapped 24/7/365 day or night.

There is a coyote hunting & trapping season here in New York State,
and that season is fully supported by the current NYSTA regime.

Can be taken all year in KS, except for night...there is a night season after the 1st of the year sometime and you have to buy a permit ($25 I believe). That season is only a couple years old though.

IL has a trapping season but hunting is year-round. I'm not sure what the rationale is to treat them differently.

theres a rationale for closing trapping during the offseason on public land to avoid dog issues.

All year hunting, excluding Sundays. Trapping is Dec and Jan specifically, but non traditional sets throughout season. I.e. water sets, dead falls, cages.

For trapping it’s mid October to February 28. If a fella has a big game licence he can take one starting in bow season in early September.

No season here.

Money cannot buy you happiness, but it can buy you a trapping license and that's pretty close.
