I was in Albany all day and as of 3 it hadn’t rained a drop over there. It’s a little windy here is Worth Co and “raining” but more like a hard sprinkle. It didn’t really start until after noon or a tad later according to the wife. It hadn’t affected the deer, been getting pics ALL day and still getting them. I’ll take this right here all day vs a hurricane overhead. Don’t envy y’all down there at all. Stay safe!!

It's clear to your north. I think it jogged a bit to the south and we got none. One squall of rain across Griffin and a wind gust or two is about all that I've seen today.

BTW, things always get better once you get out of Tifton.

They had me going to Fitzgerald today and I couldn’t reach the customer and assumed they were off today, lol. Called the project manager and told them I was going to move the order out a couple of days and they asked why. I told them it was probably a little too windy and pretty wet over that way. I sat in silence for a minute or so and it dawned on them what I was talking about and they said DO NOT head over there, lol.

Well, so far we made out like Bandits! Just got back from checking on dogs and horses and checked the rain gauge. We got less than .5” Rode the main road from the pasture to the far East end and not even a limb in the road. Even saw the sun peeking out from the West on the way home.

We have had 7 inches of rain since last night here in southeast GA.

We're pushing 9" of rain and still no power. Only a few trees down compared to last year's storm.

I had to walk in on one of my leases to retrieve cameras this evening. Water too deep to drive thru. Put on hip boots and took that 1.5 mile hike/wade. Had no choice...Alapaha River is gonna spill over it's banks...probably tommorrow...and 3 of the cameras would have been ruined. Creeks and sloughs are running towards the river right now, but that's about to change...and they'll start running backwards.





Wind knocked the pears out at one of the food plots...but they were about ready anyway..


Got the generators gassed up. Bedroom is cooled down. Freezers and fridge are good.

We are blessed that God gives us what we need to get 'er done! I'm so thankful!

Many folks don't have what they need.

One good thing, is it will put a lot of beaver on the move.

It'll scatter 'em out...that's for sure.

Good deal Swamp! Now is not the time to be without AC, October was bad enough that one year!

One generator was dedicated to our bedroom.....AC being the main thing.

As a stark contrast, we've had less than one tenth of rain over the last several weeks. Last seen this bad in 54.

Finally sitting home in Ontario after a long couple of days. Today was Knoxville TN to Tecumseh, ON. Weather was great except the patch from Bowling Green, OH through Monroe, MI was looking like it was fixing to spin up a funnel cloud or two.

Hopefully all you southeastern folks got through with little damage and disruption to your lives.
