Ya I got pulled over again yesterday morning on my way home on the interstate. Nice younger state cop said I was doing 83. I'm sure he is right on my speed my speedometer said 76 when I looked down when I saw him as I came over the hill on the curve. But my tires are bigger than factory and GPS says I'm 7 to 9 mph faster than the speedometer reads and I am going faster than it registers. He had me dead to rights and he didn't recognize me since I shaved I'm guessing but he got me in the same place 4 months ago( I didn't remind him). He asked how my driving record was and I told him I got a seat belt ticket about a week ago he didn't care about that. It came back clean with nothing showing up He gave me a warning again. He did zero fishing told me I was speeding asked how my driving record was ran my info gave the warning and I was on my way. Very professional.

I rarely get stopped. When I do its a semi safety check.

Rare for me , but when I do , it's always a revenue generator and not a real cop capable of doing real police work

Had not been home in 6 days, had 20 hrs between shifts and 5 hrs of drive time so 15 hrs at home 14 if you count leaving early. I was not speeding on purpose just not paying attention like driving a little faster when there is music you are jamming to on and not realizing it. Traffic was passing me not to many miles earlier.

BS excuse PF, use your cruise control on the interstate and account for your tires or pay the man. You can get away with running high if it is with traffic, but if you are passing most of the other vehicles you are in danger of getting caught. If there is not enough other traffic to tell then you can be on cruise control.

Your assumption is my 97 Ford range has cruise control. It does not. I'm not one of them hi rolling rich trappers with fancy gizmos . It does have an am fm radio but no tape deck or cd player but no cup holders.

Some habits are hard to break, pretty soon that record is going to be announced before the car is towed and you hauled away for a real rest !!

Between the ages of 17-30 I have been pulled over about 2 dozen times. Since then, not once. Part of it is my driving behavior changed, part of it is the vehicles I drive. Only 1 ticket in my life and I knew I wasn't talking my way out of it. I showed my gratitude for not hauling me in.

If you don't speed around here you'll get rear ended,lol

That said, I rarely go 5 miles over anymore, anybody behind me can slow down, or go around, lol

AntiGov, just curious how to interpret this. Revenue generator as in trying to find stuff to write you for and pulling you for no reason, or you were speeding at the magic percentage (whatever that is) above the posted speed limit and got pulled over?

I like not having rusted out rockers need the vehicle to run and get me to work not broke down on the side of the road.

Only been pulled over three times in 35 plus years of driving. All three were at night. I think they just wanted to check me out and see who I was. Never even got a warning.

You know , the pathetic cop hiding in the bushes on his motorcycle , or in a car thinking he's hiding ....lol......can't even get that right .......pointing his little radar gun ........all the while crime happing all around him ...lol.


Last ticket I received , a cop pulled an illegal u turn to get me ...he was proud.....passed right by a tweaker with a shopping cart full of stolen stuff including the shopping cart ....I was holding my cell phone up to my chin .


He tried to convince me that driving while on a cell phone was equal to drunk driving ......lol......we both be driving drunk for 40 yrs I guess


Pathetic ......we have an unacceptable amount of crime around theses parts


Not all is bad though , some good detectives and crime fighters on the force as well.


Maybe they just send the lame , and the DEI out to generate revenue
