Haven't heard how potter is faring, but Cameron and Tioga counties got blasted.

They called out the National Guard for Tioga because the first responders are trapped in their houses.

It's bad. I tried checking Solomen's Words but their site crashed from too much traffic. It's back up now though.

If you're on Facebook check out the group Potter County PA.

They have videos posted of cabins floating away and multiple bridges underwater. Lot's of damaged camps along the Pine Creek and everywhere else. Dozens of road closures. Massive power outages.

My buddy Mark (former Tman member PCR2) has been keeping me updated. He told me about the National Guard being deployed. Yes, they have sent the NG and their resources to rescue the rescuers.

My camp is safe from flooding, I'm on top of a 2,400-foot ridge. But I'm worried about trees falling on it. It will be a while until I know if it survived or not.

Eh...wot?

I missed it by less than 10 miles. I had the rain but no wind and the rain never came screaming down that hard. Just 5 miles west of me they got hammered in the Lycoming creek watershed. Trout run, Ralston, Liberty area, over there lots of flooding. I did pick up a lot of night crawlers though. Lucked out this time.......jk
