Hopefully some of the others, along with the Reds, in this division drop the ball today.

Brewers going for the sweep tomorrow in Atlanta. They scored 18 runs in two games so far so hopefully they can keep it up. Bottom of the order guys came through tonight after the middle carried the night before.

Schwarber putting on a hitting clinic tonight. A double and three home runs, 7 RBI's. Poor, lowest of the lowly, Dodgers don't stand a chance.

That was a great W for the Phillies. I value my sleep, lol. I decided to go to bed with the Phillies trailing 4 to 1, I woke up at 12:15 and was surprised to see the Phillies leading 8-4 in the 7th inning. Schwarber was a one man wrecking crew tonight. The Phillies took 5 out of 6 from the Dodgers for the season. Next up is a 4 game series with the red hot Diamondbacks in Arizona. ADC should be happy, the Cubs are on a roll.

Brewers put up 14 runs with six homers and 16 hits and they are finally entering the 8th. Looks like the braves can’t get the crew out of Atlanta soon enough. That should help the Phillies!

I am sure the Phillies are thankful for the Brewers dusting off the Braves.

Cubs tried really hard to blow a 7-0 lead but held on by the skin of their teeth to win 7-6 vs the very worst team in baseball.

Phillies need to get their bats going quickly.

Brewers have scorred 34 runs in the last 3 games!. If they can keep scoring 6-8 runs per game they can over come some mediocre pitching.

Tough loss for the Phillies. I thought maybe they had that one after they got it tied up.

That was my thought too, it just did not happen.

Neris dang near blew that one…I don’t know why hoyer didn’t try to get a decent closer before the deadline… it was a no brainer that alozay was done for the season. Neris is awful… wayyy too many walks.
I find it amusing… especially after last nights game.. and terrible performance,,, that after the win he thinks he’s an absolute stud…
Reminds me of Richard Pryor’s character in stir crazy walking around saying “ that’s right,, we bad,, we bad”

But Neris should of never been in that situation if Counsel wasn't too stupid to pull Tiallion before he gave up all them runs prior. Cubs middle relievers have been pretty good, he should of pulled him out way sooner. But he sucks as a coach.

Cubs sweep their series today vs. the white sox. DB's taking it to the Phillies tonight in embarrassing fashion. Lowly Reds can't scrape up even one lousy run vs. the lowly brewers, who forgot how to score today. I imagine Bryce jinxed them, talking about how many they had been scoring.

Cards sucked it up as usual. Cubs just 1.5 games back of second place in the division. Imagine if they had a closer or a coach....

Good to see the Brewers win a pitching duel. Hopefully the starting staff can perform well the next 45 games. Brewers are 4th in the MLB in batting average, up about .25 points from last year and currently 5th in the MLB in pitching. With those stats they should be winning a bit more but they so far are performing well above pre-season expectations.

The game should have ended with the Mercy Rule, why would a manager leave a relief pitcher in long enough to give up 7 runs? No way can the Phillies win the World Series when they can't beat the better teams in the regular season..

It looks like today will be another slaughter. The Phillies suck. All those high priced players and none of them are producing. No hitting, pp pitching, they are really starting to stress me out. 3 weeks until college football kicks off, I hope Penn State doesn't let me down.
