It’s good to see that your shroud is white. The black ones absorb the heat and make your air conditioner work a lot harder. It is amazing how much difference it makes.

Looks like he needs another year;-)

That's a nice looking shack in the background there, too. Looks like a real nice place.

Have you thought about using flex wrap instead of caulk at the edges, I would think it would last longer but I’m not sure on something that goes down the road, here a link to what I’m talking about.

They make RV roofing tape thats pretty common. And it does last. But it doesn’t fit well into the drip edges of an RV roof that he was caulking. It also is not possible to remove. Ever. In time it will break down, and it also weathers different than surrounding roof. So it eventually looks like crap and needs covered with more tape. I only know this because I used some on my camper several years back. I really wish I hadn’t. But it works good for some applications, but not visible ones.

I worked on rv's for 15 years and we used a self leveling sealant on the roof rails. It does fully harden so it flexes with temp changes

The key to repairs is removing the "Old" whatever it is as much as possable.
A oscillating saw is great old caulk removal tool.

the best roof repair is to 3 coarse
layer of caulk/roof puddy, fiber mesh, caulk/roof puddy. worked in with no dry area...

Eterna bond tape works great for around vents and skylights and seams and such.

Anyone that owns a gun and votes democrat deserves to have there gun taken, cause they truly are too stupid to own a gun.

I am a big fan of Eterna Bond too. We have a 29ft.2000 Gulfstream Class A and I have used it on the roof with nothing but success. Unfortunately we will be selling it soon hopefully.

Eterna bond is great stuff, I have used it several times on different campers. It’s never failed on any of them.

I have chalk it a few times now, gonna flex seal white.
Where the back end of roof is now, and drip rail is
A/C cover is cracking also , but it's 12 years old now.
So it's time, thanks for sharing.
