Southern Snares bought up the rights and equipment for Sleepy Creek with the goal of putting them back into production.

Raw steel prices have put that plan on an indefinite hold.

You know how the BMI mags had good jaw closure, and good spring power, and a real good trigger.

Sleepy's were the complete opposite of that.

I've posted before about the jaw welds and jaw rivets problem I had with the 110 size. Only bought them once.

since steel (and most OTHER commodities) are very unlikely to come down in price anytime soon, I wouldn't count on seeing new Sleepy Creeks.
