Does anyone have a Ford Maverick “truck”? What is your opinion of it?

We bought one for the wife in May. So far, we really like it. We got the 2.0L, AWD version, XLT trim. Took it out to CO/WY in June, put on 4,000 miles in 11 days. Did fine the whole way. Averaging 31 mpg.

They seem to have pretty good reviews. Lots on the road around here. Eric

Friend of mine had a Maverick 'grabber' V8 back in the day. Fun ride.

Here's a decent review of a '24 Tremor equipped Maverick.

My friend has one and likes it. 28 mpg awd, can fit a 4x8 sheet of plywood in bed with tail gate open and held up. He has the cheap one, Just added bedliner and something else. I wouldnt want to ride in the back seat for hours but thats any small truck.

We have several at work. It's basically the same thing as an escape, but with a truck body. For what most people use a truck for, it's probably perfect.
