Fresh wild caught king salmon bellies and collars. Fried in butter, salt and pepper; that's it. Cooked these just 5 minutes ago. Eat skin, flesh, scales, everything except the bones Halibut second favorite.

Son came back from the (Nisna what ever river) that dumps in Bristol after a month of guiding, at Jakes, with a ton of bellies and sockeye and........

I’m a salty dog. I like albacore tuna fishing the best. It’s a blast when trolling 6 rods with two guys on the boat and all of them go off at once! Complete K-oss. Best we ever did was landing 5 of the six. Tuna hit at an amazing speed, peeling line like crazy. As far as eating smoked tuna is good but I think I like sockeye salmon the best as long as it’s not over cooked.
wws the worst part here is 60 mile of rollers out of westport.......

Cold water white bass in the spring is as good as it gets. Crappie in the spring is good. Bluegills, crappie, perch through the ice is good. Early walleye is good. Lots of good fish if fried properly. I went to Alaska looking forward to good fish. Everything I found was deep fat fried. Very disappointed. The best meat I had in Alaska was Nebraska-grown prime rib beef. Beef is hard to beat.

We tried to settle an old debate this evening. Which tastes best, red king or white king? You can't tell the difference in taste, but the white king seems a little more moist. Both are delicious.
