His last name is Barnes and there's a saying around the shop. 50% of everything Barnes says is BS and the other 50% you gotta question... I don't get the lying and just made BS so many people seem to put out

beaverpeeler trapper Joined: Dec 2006 Oregon	Y'all are all wrong. Dead wrong. BSing is an art form to be admired and encouraged in our youth. Why, our very mountain man legacy is loaded with bearded BS'ers, these "majority of scoundrels" had it refined to a T!!!! Once upon a time Joe Meek was captured by a large band of Crows and the chief says too Joe: "White man always lie...but if you tell me the truth you will live". Well, ol' Joe said he thought to himself if there is any truth in me this man shall have it. So the chief asks how many men were in his main camp. Joe shrewdly figured telling the truth that there were over 150 would discourage this band of 50-60 Crow, so he lied and told him there were only 25. The chief was very happy with the news and said he would go to this camp and make them poorer. Long story short, Joe managed to get away with his hair intact and it was BSing that made the difference. I proudly BS whenever I get the chance because at heart I am a Mountain Man. My fear of moving stairs is escalating!
