What kind of lumps did you put on that steer?
He’s probably saying to himself, “ what was l thinkin?”
I could be a t- bone or a ribeye “in progress” for doing that!!!

He/ *it caught a .38 lead pill ... as soon as I got out of the 30'x40' bull pen and made alternate arrangements with a different butcher.

I had to gut *him and Ice it down before I could sit down that evening.

That’s good you got that leg ultrasounded for clots....heck ...when iam in big pain ..I take (2) 500mg pills of Tylenol...works great.

Day 14

Walking much better

When I was a kid I tried to bunny hop a ditch at full speed. Didnt work out well front tire stabbed the bank turned the bars and stabbed the inside of my thigh. Had a bruise the size of a football and every color under the rainbow. I know the pain.

I feel your pain. Skiing accident a couple of years ago.

Update 27 days later
Trying to heal up and make it on a Dad/Daughter BWCA trip Sept 3- 10.

my calf and Ankle look better but hur the worst, I put my leg up after it starts swelling again.

I don't want to disappoint my Daughter

Im.so.glad though that you're doing better.

Did they say anything about a blood thinner to.help.break the bruise up?

They put a friend of mine on a thinner for 60 days once after they had a biking accident

I take Excederine it has Asperin in it Tylenol and caffeine.
I was on Oxi and muscle relaxer but I've weened off of that.

My calf and Ankle still swell up and that's the pain area now. The calf bruising only hurts when bumped.

The Steer Tastes great though
