My girlfriend and I are planning a trip to Acadia. We would like to see the park and whale watch. I would like to head somewhere we could possibly see moose and she's never seen a bear. I'm hoping someone can give suggestions.

Going to need to go north for moose. Acadia and Bar Harbor are great, but not going to see moose. Can book whale watching trips though and should have a great time. I hunt the Belfast area and have never seen a moose.

Stop over cooking your meat! It isn’t gamey, it’s over cooked!

North and near water.

When are you looking to go?
Are you willing to take a hike? Or drive? Maine isn’t small!

I just hunt up that way at camp and north near Presque Isle. I will ask a few buddies up that way, I’m sure a Mainer will chime in.

There are moose in the Jackman area. Bit of a ride from the coast , but great fishing there too.

One way to tell if you are in moose country , you will see certain areas on some roads where you will see a whole bunch of lockup marks were people have slammed on their brakes in one spot because the moose like crossing in that one spot.
