I was obese. Down to 200 now. Was taking 3 blood pressure pills. Got down to 1/2 of one them. Did not take the half this morning. Was taking almost 200 units of insulin and taking none now.
Cholesterol lowering statins are poison. Had to quit them before I could work on the problems they were causing.

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4253844/Your brain is 75% cholesterol. If you want to reduce the risk of getting senile, developing type 2 diabetes, what is now being called type 3 diabetes, steady weight gain, low energy, heck look it up yourselves how unhealthy statins are. Lots of money being made pushing that stuff.

Tatiana, taken me 2 years plus to lose 85 pounds. I didnt do it all at once. Has really slowed down now. A couple pounds a month. Hoping to get to 170-80.

I want to let you all know how much I appreciate all of the positive feedback and continued encouragement. It means a lot to me, but wasn't really expecting it. Obesity is a killer. It is easily shrugged off as not that big of a deal until you have a serious health scare. I sure did get scared straight. No carb plan is not that difficult to pull off, and the results are impressive. The best part is that if you don't eat any carbs, you don't need to count your calories. Your metabolism changes how it processes what you eat and does not convert it to body fat. I don't ever go hungry. You have to plan ahead. It is helpful to always have ready-to-eat non-carb food available when you do feel hungry instead of buying a Snickers at the gas station. My go-to is a bag of little cubes of mild cheddar cheese. It's handy and it prevents me from thinking that I need a candy bar.

121 over 75 just now. No BP med for two days. Keeping my fingers crossed. No grain, no potatoes, no sugar. Quit taking statins, no more diabetes drugs, and hopefully I'm done with blood pressure meds. Amazing what some weight loss, no statin poison, and cutting out sugar will do. Blood sugar is 119. Not great but fine by me. Lots lower than when I was taking statins and insulin.
PS just finished a pot of coffee. BP ought to be high
