I was looking at Top Lot’s website. Obviously they don’t make a stretcher for EVERY species so what do you all use for skunk and opossum??

Also this doesn’t pertain to me but what about Badger? I know they used to be skinned open, in kind of a rectangle shape.

Badgers can be cased and go fur side out on a coyote stretcher when they are ready to turn. I use wire mostly and many not so common critters can be adapted to other stretchers when needed. It more about the width than the length if using an adapted stretcher.

Was born in a Big City Will die in the Country OK with that!

I put my skunk and possums up on fox boards.

Have been doing that for years now. Only put up one or two grinners a year now and put the rest in the carcass pile. If you let them go you'll be pulling them out of your best fox sets every other day

X 2, especially skunks, they seem to fit pretty well on my small red fox boards.

Possums go either on fox boards or coon boards.

Eh...wot?

Fox or fisher boards can be used or lots of options with wire stretchers. You can still tack a tail open on wire by inserting a board or smaller wood stretcher.

I have a few wooden skunk boards I copied from one I picked up years ago for Cocolamus Creek. The "problem" with using a fox board it over stretches the neck.
I think I may have picked up a opossum board as well, I'll have to check the shed.

I would bet if you asked, Leon will make you a few skunk boards. I have some I made out of Basswood years ago but fox boards worked just fine before that.

I have nothing clever to put here.
