Anyone here use one?

I think it would be fun to make my own cornbread from scratch scratch.

I have, or had a small one that attaches to a Kitchen Aid, it worked ok for small amounts, you could adjust the burrs to get a finer or coarse meal. Probably the cheapest option if you have a Kitchen Aid mixer.

I have a Graimaker mill. Made in Montana. Built like a tank. They are expensive, but are a lifetime purchase. My grandkids should be using it, if I ever have any.

For dried corn you'll need something substantial, those kernels are hard.

I just bought a nutrimill on sale a month or two ago. Havent used it yet. I made a couple gallons of cornmeal and grits last year using a nutribullet blender. It dulled the blades, but did a good job. I had two different sized mesh sifters to run it through to sort out the meal from the grits from the bigger pieces.

I got a coffee grinder in a grab bag gift, I don't grind my coffee and tried it on my corn it does a decent job , I grind it twice I use the corn mill for fish breading wild turkey bread and and corn bread, coffee grinders are inexpensive and it does all I need.
