I have a pesky rabbit that keeps eating my wifes flowers. What would you recommend as the best bait to use in a live trap. Can't really shoot them where I'm at.

I’ve never trapped a rabbit with bait but if it’s goin under any structure or if it has some trails then set traps on them or you could fence in the flowers if it’s little enough and cut an opening and put a double door live trap or conibear in the space

For cage, sliced apple, and put a cover over the thing to make it dark and cavey, make sure to stake it down so dog's/cats etc can't roll it over.

I caught the rabbit this morning in the live trap baited with salted apple slices. Thanks to all who responded.
