Incidentally the umpire was god-awful again today calling balls and strikes. I wonder what % of ball/strike calls the MBL umpires have gotten wrong this year? It seems exceptionally bad this year.

I think Hendricks is at 18 but he hasn't thrown near as many innings as your guy. 91 ip vs. 147 ip for Nola.

3 in a row for the Phillies, Nola pitched a good game. I see the Cubs won in 10 innings.

But they had a three run lead going into the 9th. shocked No closer, remember?

Brewers win their third straight game. Closer was unavailable after pitching the last two games against dodgers so next man up. Joel Payamps locked it down. Sounds like our fill in closer gets one more game for T-Rats on Monday and then he should be back.

Adames is having some issues at shortstop lately. Thankfully he is still hitting three run bombs. Hopefully he can figure out his defense.

Peralta now has 22 so they are tied. It was the only run he gave up in six innings so he pitched well. Crew has a 2 to 1 lead going to bottom of seven.

A good day for baseball in PA. The Phillies won, the Pirates won and the PA Little League team won in Williamsport.

Reds are the only ones who lost in NLC. No help from the other teams for the Cubs.

Been gone a few days. Crew is playing good BB right now. Good to see Peralta have a really good outing. Winning close games will be critical over the next 40 games.

Brewers sweep Cleveland. Scratch a couple runs across and let the bull pen shut it down. Rea took a no hitter into the 6th. Koenig gets his first save. They will be a difficult out in playoffs if their starting pitchers can make it through 5 with the lead.

The Indians pathetic offense shows up again. If 3 certain guys in that lineup aren't hitting, they are in big trouble. 2nd place here we come.

I actually like Cleveland’s team. I won’t call them the lowly Guardians or whatever they go by now… I was impressed with them over all. Sure the brewers swept them, but they could have just as easily swept the brewers. Felt like October baseball with two really good teams. I actually hope they make a deep run in the playoffs.

That's a fact. Really making the lowly Brewers look good.

Brewers are manufacturing runs and have really good speed and can turn a lot of singles and walks into getting on 2nd base. Today a perfect hit and run play sets up the 2nd run. Nice start. We got Cleveland when their couple good hitters were not seeing the ball well.

Here are total wins for each division AL East 331, AL Central 301, AL West 294 NL East 305, NL central 312, NL West 321 There are divisions that are not playing as well to date as the NL Central

The winning streak is over for the Phillies, now they go on the road for a while.

Phillies will be going to Atlanta and they won't have Riley for 6-8 weeks. Out with a broken bone in his hand. Brewers are off Monday. A real good 10 for their last 13. They played a lot of away games the first half so they have a lot of home games coming. I hope they do well with home cookin!

Brewers tried hard to give a win to the Cards, but they wouldn't take it. Phillies need to get the bats going. Cubs pulled off the win tonight.

Yup and the Cards are doing a lot of shuffling right now too. Phillies bats were cold tonight. Braves have had many players with season ending injuries. Still playing tough.
Astros just keep widening the gap in the AL west.
